Bavaria C50 'Roza Deflores 2'

Roza de Flores is our brand new Bavaria C50 (2024), and always the first choice for all our old guests who loved the legendary Buba Erdeljan, Roza DeFlores and Katrin.

For us, it was love at first sight - we were amazed by how strong and bulky she looked, while at the same time she managed to keep graceful features and elegant lines. And then we tried sailing her and we appreciated her amazing sailing performances even more. Special emphasis is on stability, space organization and comfort with top quality details and perfection in both construction and manufacture.

Katrin 2 is a very powerful yacht that loves stronger winds, when she can reach high speeds and still glide so smoothly and effortlessly. Some of her usually praised features are the sandwich construction of hull and the ingenious rib system, completely channeling the weight from the rigging and the keel. She has a large hull with wide stern, a twin rudder system, easy handling winches, a bigger sail area with shorter genoa to avoid overlapping, and extra stability and storage space achieved by placing tanks at the bottom of the hull.

The layout is also very functional, with 5 cabins and 3 heads plus an additional shower. The 4 cabins have double beds and 1 has a bunk bed, one of the aft double cabins has an en suite head, while the remaining 4 cabins share two heads. The owner’s version, where the front two double bed cabins turn into one large master cabin, with a bunk bed cabin functioning as a kind of a walk-in closet, is the biggest cabin on all of our boats, and is perfect for couples looking for extra comfort and privacy and for people used to more space than on a standard sailing boat.

Katrin 2 is also a good choice for bigger groups (in a budget friendly option she can accommodate up to 10+1 persons), but also for families with children and all skippered and crewed charters.

The exterior is solid and powerful, but above all comfortable, with a spacious cockpit, which is protected from sun and wind; a wide stern, and a bathing platform that allows extra open space for sunbathing, relaxing or jumping in the sea.

The salon and kitchen area are comfortable and inviting; with almost 30 windows and hatches, the whole interior is bright and airy. Since she has a lot of storage area and a minimalistic design with numerous practical solutions -Katrin is an ideal choice for all our guests who love spending a lot of time inside a boat, cooking, eating, relaxing... Apart from two bulky fridges and a gas stove with an oven, she also has complete kitchen equipment.

Just like all our other boats – Katrin 2 is no exception. She is fully equipped to offer you that unique feeling of being home, far away from home... Therefore, for our guests who are not so used to being on a boat, we made sure she has everything to help them feel more relaxed and comfortable; like air conditioning (on shore power) to help sleep tighter in hot summer nights, webasto heating for colder days, solar panels and an electricity inverter, (so you can charge your mobiles, cameras and laptops even if you avoid going to the marinas)...

Experienced sailors will appreciate the modern navigation equipment (GPS in the cockpit), the strong anchor (that can be operated both from the bow and from the cockpit), a powerful bow thruster and roll sails which enable one person to sail and maneuver Katrin 2 without any help. Additionally, we introduced some extra safety solutions, like double windlass control, double water pump system, a spare propeller etc.

Lastly, for every question you might have during your stay, and any suggestion or help you might need, she has her own mobile phone that connects you to us, or your skipper, free of charge, 24/7 and she has unlimited internet.
