Bavaria Cruiser 39 'Vana'
Vana is our first boat and our first love, the most desired yacht among all our old and new clients. There is something special about her charming and cozy interior that gives her a feeling of a home on the sea.
As an older Bavaria model, she is much appreciated among experienced sailors, mostly because of her warm, traditional decor and practical usage. We pay special attention to the maintenance; changing parts and adding extra equipment all the time, making her a true example of ageing gracefully. Thanks to her lower prices, she is the perfect choice if you are looking for a safe and comfortable, yet budget friendly sailing option.

For a 3 double bed cabin sailing boat, she is incredibly spacious and comfortable, and 2 heads make her the best choice for small families with children, but also for all skippered charters. The arrangement of cabins and salon is very smart; the master cabin with en suite toilet and shower is separated from the two stern cabins and the second head. As a very budget friendly option, Vana can accommodate 6 guests in the double cabins and one in the salon, or even 8 people (with smaller children).
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a sizable fridge, a gas stove with an oven, dishes, cutlery and standard cooking needs.
Towels, hand towels, blankets and pillows will be waiting for you on the already made beds.
The TV set comes in handy when you have children on board used to watching cartoons before bed. Or if there is an important match you don’t want to miss.

For hot summer days, Vana has a bimini top for sun protection, and for windy and rainy winter time, she has a strong folding sprayhood.
Although the oldest boat in our fleet, don’t let the numbers fool you - Vana is in extremely good shape. She is very much loved and cared by all her guests and we reward her with something new every year. So she got a brand new engine (we wanted it to be stronger, because Vana is a heavy, stable and quite a bulky boat). Her 42 HP engine is also very budget friendly, with the average consumption of around 3 litres per hour at cruising speed. In the last couple of years she also got brand new sails, sprayhood and bimini, cockpit cushions, complete salon and cabin mattresses and upholstery, and many more little details that make her feel new year by the year.
Aside from good looks and a beautiful soul, Vana is also environmentally conscious; we got her a solar panel which is very practical for people who prefer not going to marinas to fill in the batteries. The inbuilt inverter makes it possible to charge mobiles, cameras and similar gadgets and appliances while on board.
Vana's complimentary mobile phone connects you to us, or to your skipper, 24/7. She also has unlimited internet, so you can stay connected to 'real life' (in case you want, or have to).
The complete safety and navigation equipment ensures Vana is safe and easy to sail throughout the year.
